StarTech VGA Video Splitter Cable not displaying on TV

I recently purchased several of these VGA Video Splitters from Amazon.com and I found that I could not get them to work with Panasonic TC-L32X5 32-Inch and an Acer V193W 19inch LCD Monitor until I set the resolution on the computer to 1024×768 and on the intel graphics control panel I set Panel Pit to Maintain Display Scaling.
