Locked Down computer? How to get to remote desktop.

If you are on a workstation that is locked down and need to connect to a remote computer try creating a shortcut and on the path type mstsc as long as the program to run remote desktop has not been removed from the computer the shortcut should be created and then you can access a remote computer which you have rdp access.
