Mint.com Account Screwup

by getdeclue on November 19, 2012

I used Mint.com to track the finances between multiple accounts. Recently my bank changed to dual authentication which shouldn’t be a problem. I tried changing it on mint.com and even tried deleting my bank information and re-adding it. Mint then indicated that all problems with my account had been resolved. I then noticed in the details of my bank that not all the recent transactions were listed. This mismatch in transactions was the difference of several thousand dollars missing from my account. All money was accounted for but the amount showing in my mint.com account showed that I had more in my checking and savings then actual. Mint.com is supposed to sync with your accounts and let you know of potential problems. Every time I log into my account it showed their was a problem with my bank account and that I needed to verify my information. Once the information has been verified it shows there is no longer a problem. I did a little research and found others have reported the same issue with no help from mint. I deleted my mint account and have picked Pageonce to track my finances.
